Animal General needed a new website because their old one was dated and hadn’t been revised since 2004. They wanted the ability for customers to request appointments with their favorite vets, refill prescriptions online and to email the practice questions about their pets. Additionally, they were unable to make any changes to the existing one because the old developer did not give them the files or web host information.
Because they use cutting edge technology in their practice, IFTS wanted the site to reflect this. Therefore, a clean, modern website was created for Animal General. The home page showcases the vets as well as events that the clinic is participating in. As requested, it has the ability to schedule appointments, refill prescriptions and contact the vets. The site also has biography pages about the veterinarians. People like to see who they are taking their pets to, so this is a personal touch that we felt needed to be added.
A new blog was created for the clinic. Because their head vet, Dr. Mike, is known world-wide, the blog is a good place for him to share his knowledge and post the events that he is participating in. The blog was formatted to resemble the new website, so that they have the same color scheme and fonts.
